Russia’s Novorossiysk international sea trade port transshipped 81.12 million tons of oil in 2016 as compared to 75.21 million tons in 2015, said a message posted on the port’s website.
Novorossiysk port transshipped 31.69 million tons of oil products in 2016 as compared to 31.89 million tons in 2015, the report said.
In total, 146.91 million tons of various cargos were transshipped via the port in 2016 as compared to 139.69 million tons in 2015.
Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR transships its oil via the Novorossiysk port. The oil is delivered to the port via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.
