Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR supplied 21,600 tons of aviation fuel to Ukraine in 2016, a source in SOCAR told Trend Jan. 27.
The source noted that no aviation fuel was supplied to Ukraine in 2015.
“The company has successfully returned to the Ukrainian market,” the source said. “The first aviation fuel cargo was delivered in April last year, and the largest (11,600 tons) was sent in June. In total, last year Ukraine received 21,600 tons of the aviation fuel, and we don’t plan to reduce the supplies this year.”
SOCAR is the sole maker of oil products in Azerbaijan.
