Russia’s Novorossiysk international sea trade port transshipped 6.63 million tons of oil in January 2017 as compared to 6.53 million tons in January 2016, reads a message posted on the port’s website.
The Novorossiysk port transshipped 3.04 million tons of oil products in the reporting period as compared to 2.83 million tons in January 2016, according to the message.
Overall, 12.67 million tons of various cargos were transshipped via the port in January 2017 as compared to 11.91 million tons in January 2016.
Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR transships its oil via the Novorossiysk port. The oil is delivered there via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.
