SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR, supplied 2,500 tons of aviation fuel to Ukraine in January-March 2017, OilNews reported.
SOCAR supplied 2,000 tons of aviation fuel to Ukraine from Saudi Arabia, and 500 tons from Lithuania by railway.
SOCAR supplied 21,600 tons of aviation fuel to Ukraine in 2016.
SOCAR increased its aviation fuel supplies to Ukraine by 7 percent in 2016 compared to 2015. SOCAR’s subsidiaries supplied 136,000 tons of aviation fuel in 2016, which is 7 percent more than in 2015.
SOCAR is the sole manufacturer of oil products in Azerbaijan.
