SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR in Ukraine, is going to participate in a new tender of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry for supply of arctic diesel fuel, a source in SOCAR told Trend May 30.

According to the source, the Ukrainian ministry has announced a tender to buy 20,300 tons of arctic diesel fuel worth more than $19 million.

“SOCAR intends to participate in the tender. The company already has a successful experience – in February, it won a tender of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry for supply of 3,500 tons of arctic diesel fuel. The cargo has already been delivered to the customer,” said the source.

In January-March 2017, SOCAR exported 252,920 tons of diesel fuel as compared to 281,930 tons in the same period of 2016.

SOCAR has a subsidiary, SOCAR Energy Ukraine, as well as a network of 60 filling stations in Ukraine.
