CABINET SANCTIONS CONSTRUCTION OF RIVERBED GAS PIPELINE

Azerigas receives a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers for the construction of a river-bed gas pipeline by Sumgayitelektriktikinti company under the project of rehabilitation of gas supply to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Azerigas told Trend the gas pipeline will run under Araz River and connect the gas lines of the NAR with Iran. The key objective of the appeal was the to intensify the project, as tender procedures might take 2-3 months.

The construction of the river-bed gas pipeline will take 15-20 days.
