In January to July Azerbaijan has acquired 2.6 billion cu m of gas from Gazexport, a daughter company of the Russian gas giant Gazprom, or 99 million cu m less than the first half-year of 2005, the SOCAR told Trend.
In 2004 Gazexprt delivered 4,931 bln. Cubic m. Gas to Azerbaijan, or 861.9 million cu m more than 2003.
According to the SOCAR, in June Azerbaijan exported 367.1 million cu m of natural gas, or 71.1 million cu m down than June 2004.
In 2005 Azerbaijan plans to export 6 billion cu m of gas from Gasexport. Azerbaijan exports Russian gas via the Mozdok-Gazi-Magomed gas pipeline.
