Construction of the gas compressor station (GCS) close to Astara at the Azerbaijani-Iranian border in the framework of the project for reinstatement of the gas supply to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) will be completed by 24-25 August, the Azerigas JSC told Trend.
Construction of the base is currently completed and construction of the building commenced.
The Azerigas noted, that the department prepares to transport gas to Iran from the 1 September. The GCS constructing has been carried out by the Ukrainian machine- building company from Sumi. The contract’s price is some 80 billion manats (about $17 million).
