SOCAR SHIPS OVER 48,000 TONS OF CRACKING MAZUT IN JUL

In July the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) shipped a total of 48,500 tons of cracking mazut for French company Total and Singaporean company Petrofarm. The product was acquired from Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant (ORP) as a result of additional refinery of straight-run mazut, the SOCAR told Trend.

In July Azerneftyag ORP will deliver to Heydar Aliyev ORP the most part of the straight-run mazut, which will enable the least to output 20,000 tons of gasoline and some 75,000 tons of cracking mazut.

According to an official of SOCAR in June Total loaded 1,000 tons of cracking mazut to cover demand of the Georgian market, while the rest 47.5 will be shipped for Petrofarm in Batumi.

In January to June Heydar Aliyev ORP exported 4601,100 tons of different oil products, or 41,500 tons more than 2004.
