The 110kw-Khazri-Siyazan electricity transmission line (ETL) with the length of 36km will be put into exploitation on 2 August 2005, Tanriverdi Mustafayev, the head of the Public Relations Department of the Barmek, told Trend.

The construction of the ETL has been complete and specialists are currently testing it. The ETL was built in accordance with the world standards, while its devices were from supplied from Turkey and Germany.

Sometimes the power station had to cut off the energy delivery in emergency conditions in order to liquidate the subsequent accidents, but the new line will raise the necessity of disconnections.

The project for construction of the ETL is implemented by Azerelectrikshebeketikinti’ joint stock company (JSC), which will approve $1.93m in this respect.

The line was constructed in parallel to the ETL, providing northwestern regions with energy. It will improve the energy supply to northeast regions of Siyazan, Davachi, Khudat, and Khachmaz.
