The Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Ministry held scientific-technical seminar INFРћDAY 2005 dedicated to presentation of the achievements of the General Electric (United States) and Optima-integration (Russia) in the energy sphere, Trend reports.
Idris Rizabayov, the head of the Oil and Gas Operations Division, noted that the seminar organized within participation of the representatives of the Industry and Energy Ministry, Economic development Ministry, SOCAR, Azerenerji joint stock company (JSC), Azerigaz JSC, power stations within State program for development of fuel-energy complex of Azerbaijan (2005-2015) and State program for use of alternative energy sources in Azerbaijan.
The participants of the seminar were informed about last achievements in the technologies of combined cycle, use of gas generators and biological fuel, gas turbines for production of electric energy and heat in the regional heat-and-energy systems, recoverable electric energy sources such as wind and water.
Valeriy Shamko, the head of the projects of the Optima-integration, spoke about importance of the calculation and improvement of the system in this direction.
