AZERIGAZ TO START CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERWATER GAS PIPELINE TO NAKHCHIVAN

In August Azerigaz JSC is going to start the construction of an underwater gas pipeline under the project on rehabilitation of gas supply to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), Trend reports. At present mobilization of the technique near the construction area is underwayС'. The gas pipeline will run via the Araz River and connect Iran with the NAR.

Earlier several variants for the construction of the pipeline was considered with Iran. As a result it was resolved to construct an underwater gas pipeline. According to experts, it will take 15-20 days.
