Samir Sharifov, the Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFA), will pay a visit to Kazakhstan in August. The date of the visit is under determination and it is supposed to be held mid-early decade of August.
The visit will be carried out at the invitation of the Energy Ministry of Kazakhstan, which is interested in study of Azerbaijan’s experience in the implementation of the principles of the Extracting Industry Transparent Initiative (EITI).
African countries are also interested in the study of similar experience, S.Sharifov said.
