The Ali-Bayramli high-voltage network (HVN) prepares for winter. The workers of the HVN repaired 204.3 km electric transmission lines (ETL) in January-June 2005, the press-service of the Azerenerji told Trend referring to Director Aliza Samadov.
According Samadov, the HVN services the 1 693, 28 km ETL and the 1 619 mega-voltampers substation.
“The major objective is to carry out the work in time and provide stable function of the substations Kurdamir, Sabirabad, Salyan, Alat, Masalli,”Samedov said.
“65 unfit isolators were changed at the 230 kilovolt Parsabad air ETL, while new details were installed at the Masalli ETL,” the head of the HVN underlined.
Besides, similar work was carried out at ETL of the Janub substation. A total of 2505 isolators, 420 wire holders and 2.33 tons of kneepieces were changed at the Ali-Bayramli HVN.
