In accordance with the agreement, signed between Barmek Azerbaijan and Ministry of Economic development, the Company has liabilities on decrease of energy lost to 11%, Husseyn Arabul, the head of the Barmek Azerbaijan, told Trend.
“We have liabilities on decrease of energy lost to 14,63%, but the index will comprise 13% by late 2006,” Arabul added. He considers that it is difficult to determine the percent of energy lost in the country at present.
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers noted late 2005 that the major problem for the development of the Azerenerji Joint Stock Company (JSC) was energy lost. The energy lost of the Company made 17% at that time.
