The Azneftkimyamas Joint Stock Company (JSC) prepares for a new project, which will be implemented within the TACIS program and envisages application of some international standards at some enterprises of Azneftkimyamas, the company told Trend.
The project will first be applied at 4 enterprises such as Baki fahlesi machine-building plant, Sabunchu Scientific-production union, Balakhani and Sabail machine-building plants with ISO certificate and ISO monogram.
The project envisages purchase of testing equipment and holding of trainings on standardization of the API (American Petroleum Institute).
Value of the project with 18 months term comprises 500,000 euros and the fund is granted by the TACIS.
“The project will start in September 2005,”the Azneftkimyamas said.
9 enterprises has obtained ISO 9001 certificates so far and the education center of the JSC will get it in a month.
