The Рђzerneftyag Oil Refinery (OR) plans to complete development of tender documents for major overhaul of the "Biturox" N401 plant for bitumen production and ELOU -РђVT-6 N305 for oil refining, the Oil Refinery told Trend.
The Рђzerneftyag Oil Refinery is a part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and an independent oil products exporter.
"After accomplishing these works a tender will be announced, supposedly, in late August or early September.
The Oil Refinery plans to discuss some issues on the future tender with the Austrian Perner, a “Biturox N401” plant designer”, the Oil Refinery noted.
Perner renders consulting services on identification of the required equipment to OR and carried out monitoring of the plant’s condition. The major overhaul is supposed to last 1-1,5 months.
The bitumen plant’s production capacity is 250,000 tons (200,000 вЂ" asphalt bitumen, 50,000 вЂ" building bitumen), Р•LOU -РђVT-6 for gasoline production - 6 million tons.
