Operating company Salyan Oil is completing drilling of the next exploitation well on Kursangi-Garabaghly with the project depth of 2300 meters. At present operations of well pumping are underway.
According to an official of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), at present drilling of the last exploration well with the project depth of 3500 meters successfully continues. The drilling workers have passed half of the project depth.
Geological reserves of the Kursangi-Garabaghly field are 100 million tons of oil, while co-efficiency of oil extraction is some 0.2-0.3. Potentially recoverable reserves of the bloc comprise 25 million tons.
