SOCAR TO INCREASE OIL SUPPLY TO 2 ORPs DUE TO CUR IN OIL PUMPING VIA BAKU-NOVOROSSIYSK

In September the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan will increase the oil supply two Baku-based oil refinery plants (ORPs) вЂ" Heydar Aliyev ORP and Azerneftyag ORP in connection with the cur in oil pumping via the Baku-Novorossiyk.

The SOCAR told Trend in September the oil pumping via the northern route will comprise 46,000 tons. “Major oil volumes will fall on the Azerbaijan International Operating Oil Company (AIOC), which in September will ship 1 tanker consignment with 138,000 tons and two with 79,000 tons each from Novorossiysk This month the SOCAR delivered only one tanker consignment with 79,000 tons of oil from Novorossiysk,” the same source said.

Azerneftyag told Trend that in September the SOCAR will supply additional 80,000 tons of oil. “The vacant oil volumes of the SOCAR will be directed to the Heydar Aliyev ORP for further refinery,” Azerneftyag announced.

Respectively, the volume of prediction and export of oil products will be also increased. “We, in particular, suppose to export 30,000 tons of mazut in September.

Over the past 2 months we have not exported mazut. It is also planned to increase significantly export of diesel fuel in September, as 56,650 tons of this product was delivered in August,” the same source said.
