India will host a meeting between oil producers of Caucasus and Central Asia and four major oil consumers of Asia-China, India, South Korea, and Japan on 21 October 2005. Azerbaijani Minister of Energy and Industry, Majid Karimov, is expected to attend the event.
An Asian Oil Alliance will be established in the gathering with the key objective of stable energy supply at reasonable prices.
In Deli Oil Ministers of Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will mull the transportation and realization of energy resources with their counterparts from four big oil consumers.
The similar meeting will was held in January 2005 between the oil producers from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Qatar and the Ministers of China, South Korea, India and Japan.
