РђР’Р’ JOINS TO MODULAR STATIONS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT IN AZERBAIJAN

The Swedish- Swiss РђР'Р' company joins the modular stations project in Azerbaijan. According to the ABB general representative in Azerbaijan Farhad Atamov, the company supplies the basic equipment for the modular station in Astara region, the press service of the Azerenerji Joint Stock Company (JSC) told Trend.

According to him, the company is to supply distribution devices, equipment and facilities for substations of the energy objects of the modular type in Sheki, Hachmaz, Nakhchevan, Baku.

The Astara electrical power station, consisting of 10 modules per 8,7 MWt will be the first from 52 ones, which Azerenerji plans to commission in 2005-2006. The contract with Finnish Warstila is signed. The company will build electrical power stations by “turn-key” technology. A considerable volume of topographical, geological and prospecting works is fulfilled on the construction site.
