The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) announced tender for the sale of 142,000 tons of the Urals oil, basis FOB from the Novorossiysk port. The closing of the tender is expected on 29 September 2005, SOCAR told Trend.
В"The oil batch from berth N1 in Novorossiysk is supposed to be shipped on 21 and 22 October, SOCAR indicated.
This oil consignment is a profit oil for SOCAR, produced by the Azerbaijan International Operating company (AIOC) on the Azeri-Chirag-Gyuneshli (ACG) oil field. SOCAR owns 10% in this project. The means from marketing of this consignment will go to the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAR).
The following companies purchased oil from SOCAR at tenders from Novorossiysk since the start of the year:
January - LUKOIL (140,000 tons), Vitol (80,000 tons);
February - LUKOIL (160,000 tons), Arcadia (140,000 tons);
March- Bp Oil Trading (80,000 tons), Total (140,000 tons);
April - Glencore (160,000 tons);
May вЂ" RD Shell (80,000 tons); LUKOIL (85,000 tons);
June - Mercuria Energy Trading (82,000 tons);
July - Mercuria Energy Trading (170,000 tons);
August - Sun Oil (164,000 tons), Glencore (142,000 tons);
September -LUKOIL (79,000 tons).
