SOCAR REDUCES OIL SHIPMENT FROM NOVOROSSIYSK

In January to September 2005 the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) shipped from the Novorossiysk port 1,535 million tons of Ural oil, or 452,000 less than 2004, the SOCAR told Trend.

According to the SOCAR, in September 2005 a total of 237,000 tons of Ural oil was shipped from Novorossiysk, 71,100 down as compared to August and 22,200 less than September of 2004.

In 2004 the SOCAR sold from Novorossiysk 2559,100 tons of oil, or 77,100 tons more than 2003. Oil pumping tariffs via the BAku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline is $15.67 per ton.

SOCAR said that in September the average prices of Urals oil made up $58.38 per barrel in average, or $4.53 per barrel less than average sustained prices of BFO.
