The Gazexport Ltd. (a daughter enterprise of Gazprom Joint Stock Company, JSC) delivered to Azerbaijan from January to September 2005 totally 3,486 billion cubic meters gas against 3,479 billion cubic meters during the 9 months of 2004, the Azerigaz JSC told Trend .
According to the Azerigaz spokesman, in September 2005 Gazexport delivered 240 million cubic meters gas to Azerbaijan, which is for 56 million cubic meters of fuel less of the August 2005 and for 237,1 million cubic meters less of the exported by company in September 2004.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plans to purchase some 6 billion cubic meters gas in the current year from Gazexport at the price of $60 per 1,000 cubic meters. The natural gas is supplied to the country through the gas pipeline Shirvanovka- Gazimagomed.
В"We are to receive 270 million cubic meters gas in September by the plan. Actually we received 40 million cubic meters. In October 270 million cubic meters of fuel is supposed to deliver to Azerbaijan”, Azerigaz indicated.
