Barmek Azerbaijan deducted debts of the first category consumers and SOCAR from amount to be paid to Azerenerji JSC

From January to September 2005 Barmek Azerbaijan paid 320,408 billion AZM ($69,7 million) to Azerenerji JSC for the energy supplied. In accordance with the contract on “Baku electrical power network” and “Sumgayit electrical power network” management the company pays 75% and 35% respectively for the power received, Barmek Azerbaijan told Trend.

"For 8 months 2005 the arrears of the first category consumers to Barmek Azerbaijan is 14227,5 million AZM. Among them: the State Oil Company - 11904,8 million AZM, the Azersu State Concern-11274,3 million AZM, the Baku Metropoliten - 534,3 million AZM, the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs - 947,5 million AZM and etc. Taking into account this, the amount of their debts has been deducted from the sum of payments to Azerenerji JSC, the company noted.
