The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) closed a tender on sale of profit oil Azeri Light from the Georgian port of Supsa. The shipment of 1 million barrels of Azeri Light oil (135,000 tons) from Supsa is scheduled for 18-19 November.
The previous consignment with the similar amount was sold to Turkish Tupras, while previously, the German company Select Energy GMBH acquired Azeri Light oil batch.
In January to September 2005 the AIOC, involved in the development of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields, exported 5,157 million tons of Azeri Light via the Baku-Supsa pipeline.
This year Azeri Light was sold to Glencore, Arcadia, Unipetrol, Total, R-Trading, Select Energy and Tupras.
