Azerbaijan will ship over 500,000 tons of oil from Georgian port Supsa in November

In November the partners of the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), developing the off-shore Azeri-Chirag-Gyuneshli (ACG) block plan to reduce shipments of the Azeri Light oil from the Georgian port Supsa from 645,000 tons in October to 535,000 tons. All this volume will be shipped by 6 tanker cargoes, the well-informed sources told Trend.

According to the source, in November five tanker cargoes will be shipped per 80,000 tons each, one batch вЂ" 135,000 tons falls at the Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR). This is the profit consignment for SOCAR on the account of the 10% -share in the ACG project.

During January-September 2005 AIOC exported totally 7,511 million tons of oil, which is for 2,97 million tons more of the 9 months of 2004. Through the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline 5,157 million of Azeri Light has been exported. In September AIOC exported 1,173 million tons of oil, which is for 224,7 thousand tons more of August and for 617,000 tons more of September 2004. 589,4 thousand of oil has been pumped through the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.
