Barmek Azerbaijan works in intensive regime from 5 Nov

“Barmek Azerbaijan, the operator of the energy distribution networks of Baku and Sumgayit, began to work in intensive regime from Saturday,” Tanriverdi Mustafayev, the head of the PR Division of the Company, told Trend.

According to Mustafayev, the commission included directors, heads of divisions on sale and exploitation, dispatchers held revision at election stations, constituency committees, election headquarters and press centers. “The commission did not reveal any problems related to energy supply at the objects, they will provide with energy twenty-four hours a day on the voting day. The safety service of the Company will work in intensive regime. The Company will strengthen guard of the Central Department, customer support centers, substations and transformer stations, he stressed.

Mustafayev reported that new 110-KV Khazri-Siyazan electricity transmission line commissioned on 10 September also transit to intensive regime to provide the Northeastern regions of the country with uninterrupted energy supply.

The emergency service (phone number 199) will receive information about state of the system, accidents and coordinate their liquidation twenty-four hours a day. “The emergency service has not received any information about the problems in election station,” the head of the PR Division noted.
