According to Aliyev, use of gas from Garadagh has been set up from 13 November. "1.2-1.3 million cu m of gas is pumped a day for gas supply to Baku and regions of Azerbaijan. The gas system enables to direct gas in many directions where it is in need,” she said.

Aliyev said from 15 November it is planned to set up the use of reserve gas from Kalmaz if necessary. This year the problems with gas supply will not manifest itself in the way as in previous years, for Azerigas pumped a total of 1,026 billion cu m of gas to Garadagh and Kalmaz gas reservoirs, which is 400 million cu m more than last year.

At present along with Baku 49 districts of Azerbaijan are provided with gas.
