Kyrgyzstan, Iran agree to activate intergovernmental cooperation commission’s activity

Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Minister of Cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Abbasi on Friday. During the meeting the sides discussed bilateral cooperation, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry’s press release says.

Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Minister of Cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Abbasi on Friday. During the meeting the sides discussed bilateral cooperation, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry's press release says.
During the meeting Kazakbaev noted the importance of fulfilling the legal framework of bilateral relations, particularly in the sphere of trade and economic and investment cooperation.

The sides discussed cooperation in the social and economic, investment, scientific and technical, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The meeting also discussed the activization of the joint Kyrgyz-Iranian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, the tenth meeting of which is scheduled for spring in Tehran.
