Trend Agency has introduced a specialised client interface, Trend Terminal which provides flexible access to the agency's paid news. One of the distinguishing features of the terminal is that clients will be able to customise the operation of the interface to read only the news on the topics, markets, countries or regions they are interested in.

The programme is being updated every 30 seconds. It enables agency clients to rapidly receive business and event information and users do not need to refresh the page. The Terminal displays the latest news automatically online. Trend clients can receive daily access to more than 350 news items in economics, finance and politics in English, Azerbaijani, Russian, Farsi and Arabic, using Trend's archives from early 2006.

The programme has the ability to break news on categories such as oil and gas, business, politics, IT and many other topics. Trend Terminal users can also filter the news for the South Caucasus, the Caspian Sea and Central Asia.

Current users of the agency having a personal login and password will be able to use the terminal. New users can register for a fee and get access to Trend Terminal here.

Releasing the client programme is part of the development strategy of the Trend news agency. This will allow the agency to further strengthen its position in the international news market.

Founded in 1995 as a private media outlet in Azerbaijan, Trend Agency is a leading news provider in the Caucasus and Caspian region. Trend was admitted as a member of the Organisation of the Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) in 2010.

Moody's International certified Trend recognising the news agency's quality management system as meeting ISO 9001 - 2008 requirements.

Trend produces articles in five languages including English, Russian, Azerbaijani, Persian and Arabic.
