By 2020, the management of the pension-insurance system will be fully automated in Azerbaijan, head of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) Salim Muslimov said on Monday in his speech at an international conference called 'Azerbaijan 2020: Vision of the future'.
"By 2020, all activity areas of the SSPF will be automated. Nowadays, activity of 84 percent of the state fund's agencies have been automated, and by 2020, the work of all fund departments will be automated," Muslimov said.
He said that more than 600 ATMs for issuing pensions operate in Azerbaijan today adding that by 2020, all pension cards will transferred to chip cards and that all ADSL-connections of the state fund will be replaced by fiber-optic communication lines.
"Assignment and accrual of pensions will also be fully automated. Moreover, creation of a regional training center is planned by 2020," Muslimov said.
