The National Entrepreneurship Support Fund under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy and Industry has begun receiving entrepreneurs' investment projects in the priority areas of developing the Agstafa region, the ministry said on March 19.
The event on 'State support for the development of entrepreneurship in the regions' was held in the village of Dagkesaman in the Agstafa region.
Discussions were held over the effective use of the existing economic potential as part of the meeting with the entrepreneurs. It is expedient to receive proposals from the entrepreneurs to finance the investment projects. These projects cover the establishment of a family farm for 50 cows, bakeries, fruit and vegetable processing enterprises, dried fruit production enterprises and horticulture facilities.
The business people may apply to the fund through authorised credit organisations from March 19, in accordance with the rules of using the national fund's money.
Small projects can be fully financed through concessional loans at the entrepreneurs' request.
