Azerbaijani entrepreneurs invited to develop gold and salt fields in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan’s embassy in Azerbaijan has invited Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to participate in an auction for the sale of three licenses for the right to search, explore and develop mineral deposits in Kyrgyzstan.

Kyrgyzstan's embassy in Azerbaijan has invited Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to participate in an auction for the sale of three licenses for the right to search, explore and develop mineral deposits in Kyrgyzstan, a message posted on the official website of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy and Industry said.

The auction will be held by the State Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources of Kyrgyzstan on March 31, 2014 in the city of Toktogul.

A licence for the right to conduct geological exploration work in the Kizilkoy area with placer gold reserves in the Toktogul region will be put up for auction.

The average gold content in tried out areas is 4.8 grams per ton at an oscillation from 0.5 grams / ton to 14.8 grams / ton. The starting price of the licence is $3000. The licence to conduct geological exploration work in the Tegermen area with reserves of placer gold is also put up for auction in the same region. The starting price of the licence is $3000.

Additionally, a licence for the development of rock salt in the Small Log-1 area of the Ketmen-Tube field will be put up for auction. The starting price of the licence is $610.
