Turkey has ratified agreement with Iran in the field of tourism, the website of the Turkish "Official Gazette" ("Resmi Gazete") newspaper said.
The report notes that the agreement enters into force from the date of ratification of the protocol on cooperation of Turkey and Iran in the field of tourism. The details of the agreement were not disclosed.
The protocol on cooperation in the field of tourism between Turkey and Iran was signed in Tehran on April 27, 2004.
Turkey was visited by 616,792 Iranian tourists during five months of 2014.
