Trend:

Kazakhstan will abolish the technical inspection of personal cars which have an operational life of up to 7 years.

The need for such a decision was announced by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

"Provision of population with certificates, which are needed for employment, going abroad, and obtaining driver's license, should be ensured under the 'one stop' principle. Inspection of private cars not used for commercial purposes, with an operational life of up to 7 years, as well as authorization to drive the vehicle should be abolished starting from 2015," Nazarbayev said.

He made the remarks Sept. 2 at the opening of the fourth session of the Kazakh parliament's fifth convocation.

Nazarbayev recalled that when conducting reforms, the government and parliament should not forget about everyday problems faced by the population.

"I consider it necessary to revise the legislation and to narrow the requirement on notarization of documents," the president said.
