Some 500,000 contracts have been registered in the Electronic Information System of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan.
The information was presented at a meeting of experts of the State Labor Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and employers of the Absheron region and Binagadi district of Baku, the ministry said Sept. 4.
At the meeting it was noted that electronic service of "labor contracts notice registration and informing of the employer" takes one of the first places among the types of electronic services used by means of the e-government portal.
At a meeting devoted to informing of the employers about the use of the EIS at the "Doors Open Day - Civic Forum" event it was pointed out that EIS software creates conditions for easy and convenient use of the system for employers.
It was noted that the calls, official inquiries, electronic applications received by the ministry, as well as the questions asked on educational activities, show the interest of employers to participate in the processes of reformation.
The meeting stressed the importance of formalization of labor relations by their registration in the EIS. At the same time, the participants were informed of the administrative measures in case of attracting individuals to work prior to the entry into force of the employment contract, in other words, prior to its registration in the EIS.
