Copyright Agency of Azerbaijan has announced a tender for the purchase of hologram labels measuring 18x35 millimeters, the tender commission agency said Sept.15.
The cost of participation in the tender is 260 AZN.
The bids backed by a bank guarantee in the amount of 1 percent of their value will be accepted in the Commission until October 30, 2014 at the address: U.Hajibeyov 84 str. (Government House), Baku. Opening of bids will take place on 31 October.

Hologram labels will be placed on the audiovisual works, phonograms, computer programs, information collections and books, Trend was told earlier in the agency. Centre of intellectual property rights at the agency will regulate the issue of hologram labels to the copyright entities.
Currently, an electronic system for issuing hologram labels has been created. In addition, a Track & Trace system for smart phones that allows to remotely determine the legitimacy of the hologram labels has also been created.
Start of application of hologram labels is expected in the near future. The hologram labels will be issued by the relevant bodies of executive authorities to the copyright product manufacturers upon their request. The request will be reviewed within seven working days. In the absence of deficiencies in the request, the decision to grant hologram labels will be made within five working days.
The cost of 1 hologram label for all products of intellectual property subject to labeling is 0.15 AZN.
Products distributed without these holograms will be considered piracy, and individuals, officials and legal entities will be fined in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences of Azerbaijan.
