Ukrainian Sum NGO after M.V. Frunze JSC started sending sections of the process heaters for the Bagtiyarlik oil and gas complex in Turkmenistan, the company said.

Shipment is carried out under the contract with the Petro Gas LLP Corporation (UK), which conducts work on Bagtiyarlik since 2013, the source of raw material for the supply of Turkmen gas to China.

"According to the contract signed in the winter of this year, the company was tasked to produce two process natural gas heaters," the statement said. "This product belongs to the category of large sized one. Thus, the weight of one unit of equipment reaches 82 metric tons, height reaches 31 meters."

"Technological heaters together with capacitive equipment and absorbers shipped earlier will be included in one process chain for gas dehydration on the Turkmen Bagtiyarlik," says the statement of the Head of Sales for Central Asia and the CIS countries Alexander Meskhia.

It is also reported that the Ukrainian Association continues to work on the equipment for Bagtiyarlik provided by other contracts. In particular, flare installation, air coolers and more are on the final stages of production.

Turkmenistan plays the role of one of the key players on the energy market in the Caspian region, raw materials are exported to Russia and Iran. The route from Central Asia to China was first discovered in 2009. China is the largest buyer of Turkmen gas today and expects to increase purchases of up to 65 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
