More than 12,000 recruits will be drafted in Kazakhstan from October 1 as part of the recruitment in the units and formations of the armed forces, the Kazakh Defense Ministry said Oct. 1.
"The specialties of young people will be taken into account while distributing the recruits in the military units," a statement says.
Autumn recruitment is conducted in accordance with the law "On military service and status of servicemen" and the presidential decree on the call of citizens for military service in April - June and October - December 2014, the statement says.
