P World, the organizer of international business events in Azerbaijan such as "Marketing Kingdom", "Golden Crown Awards" or "Baku HR Experience" has announced yesterday the launch of a second edition of "Excellence in HR Awards".
The Awards are currently the only competition open in Azerbaijan in order to reward and highlight the best specialists, teams and strategies in the HR field, in the fairest of manners. The first edition took place in November 2013, when the best HR specialists and the best HR teams coming from small, medium and large companies were awarded trophies and diplomas in a ceremony that took place at Four Seasons Hotel.
Continuing what is considered a tradition in many European countries, this year's edition will feature a jury formed of international specialists, among which Xavier Molinié, Barbara Wright-Avlitis or David Bannister, who hold or used to hold senior HR positions in companies such as Dell, Novartis, JCDecaux or New Look.
Just like in the first edition, in order to ensure maximum fair play, the contestants will not be nominated by the organizers, but will have to apply filling an application form that can be found here: http://thepworld.com/hr_awards
The deadline for submitting applications is 27th of October and the finalists for each award will be announced by 1st of November. The Awards Gala will take place on the 7th of November, when the winners will have the possibility to have short speeches, take red carpet pictures and enjoy networking with their colleagues.
Local companies that prioritize HR, talent development or have innovative initiatives are highly encouraged to apply.
