Some 25 start-up projects have already been submitted to High-Tech Park (Technopark) business incubation center, Deputy General Director of Technopark Jabbar Musaev told Trend Sept. 9.

He said today the number of candidates seeking to present their projects in the incubation business center reached 70.

Aspiring entrepreneurs presented in the incubation business center pay rent for use on the most favorable terms.

All submitted projects will be supported at the state level.

All necessary conditions for improvement of their ideas and projects of innovation orientation are created for authors of startups. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the work, the authors of the start-up projects are exempt from utility payments and provided with all the necessary conditions (office peripherals, computer and Internet access).

Only long-term projects can be claimed for development in the incubation center. Once the project reaches the desired stage of development, the next step is the shift of start-up projects to the High-Tech Park.

The construction of "High-Tech Park" (Technopark) is to be in the Pirallahi district of Baku. Some 50 hectares of land there has been allocated for construction of the park.

High-Tech Park LLC passed the state registration. Azerbaijani State Committee for Property Issues approved the charter of the park and meetings were held with potential foreign investors and companies.

With the beginning of the park's activities the ICT spheres will expand and the creation of modern research facilities and development of new information technologies will be provided. The park will play an important role in the sustainable development of the economy and competitiveness.
