Yet again, the representatives of Bakcell, The First Mobile Operator and the Leading Mobile Internet Provider of Azerbaijan, have met with the university students. Students from various universities studying at "SABAH" groups have participated in this meeting, which was held at the Azerbaijan State Economic University.
During the meeting, the representatives from HR department of Bakcell have provided the students with detailed information about the student-oriented "Smart Start" internship program, and provided them with useful recommendations on how to compose a CV and prepare for the job interviews.
Designed for students and graduates who are willing to start their careers but facing difficulties in employment because of the lack of previous work experience, the "Smart Start" program provides an opportunity to get acquainted with a real work environment, gain practical experience and develop work-readiness skills. The duration of the internship is 2 months, with 5 full working days a week. Bakcell provides the interns with a relevant stipend to cover their daily meal and travel expenses. Upon completion of the internship program, all the participants are evaluated and granted with the certificates proving their participation in the project. Moreover, the students were provided with detailed information about the "AppLab" project, which supports the development of mobile applications in Azerbaijani language, as well as the other projects aimed at providing vast opportunities for the young people. The students were also able to ask their related questions.
The "Applab" program is aimed at providing effective tools for entrepreneurs and application developers to help accelerate the realization of their ideas and create innovative turn-key mobile applications for Azerbaijani and international markets. It should be noted that a week before this meeting, the representatives of Bakcell have also held a meeting with the students of the Azerbaijan University.
