Remaining loyal to its tradition of actively joining the career fairs in the country every year, Azercell participated in the 9th Azerbaijani International Fair held in Baku Expo Center on October 9-11.
The company had a separate stand in the fair. Azercell representatives shared detailed information about the current Student Programs and responded to numerous questions of the participants willing to get employed by the company. They also gave some advice to young participants and established a special e-mail account for their inquiries.
We would like to note that Azercell Telecom continuously helps talented youth to build career and find their places in the labor market. With its own initiative, Azercell has organized Career Days on a regular basis. During such events, the youth striving to join the company meet with Azercell representatives and get broad information about company activities.
Under the Student Bursary program of the company, capable youth studying at Azerbaijani universities get a great opportunity to receive special bursary from Azercell and take internship at various divisions of the company. Besides, many projects conducted by the company are related to education. It should be noted that Azercell Telecom LLC launched Student Bursary program on October 1. Talented students selected for the program will be granted a monthly scholarship from Azercell till the graduation.
In addition, Azercell will facilitate the career development for these students. Furthermore, Azercell intends to launch Regional Student Program 2015 in November. Under the program, the company will conduct presentations in Gandja, Mingachevir, Nakhchivan and Lankaran and give a chance for students to take part in this program. Bachelor students in their last 2 years of study and with good marks are eligible to apply for the program.
