Azerbaijan to assemble underwater mini robot

Azerbaijani AZDynamics company has started to assemble an underwater mini robot, the company told Trend.

 

The details of a mini robot have been already delivered to Azerbaijan and the work will be launched next week, the company said.

 

The finished product will be tested. After positive results are obtained, the device will be presented to a number of specialists of some state agencies who will be able to use the mini robot while holding the underwater operations.

 

In particular, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as the Azerbaijani State Oil Company (SOCAR) may be interested in the device.

 

The mini robot will be assembled upon a technology of one of the US companies.

 

The device can operate at a depth of up to 200 meters for eight hours, conduct underwater filming, rescue work in the water, examine underwater structures, etc.

 

Modern technologies will make the device small-sized, low-cost and easy to manage.

 

The mini robot will be managed via a special cable.
