Turkish businessmen will discuss the issues of investing in Azerbaijan’s information and communication technologies (ICT) sector during their upcoming visit to Baku, Turkey’s Electrical Electronics and Services Exporters Association (TET) said in a message quoting the TET board member Selahattin Esim.
In the post-oil period, Turkey and Azerbaijan need to form strategic cooperation in the field of communications, he said.
Esim noted that the parties will mull mutual cooperation in this field, taking into account attraction of investments to Azerbaijan’s ICT sector.
The Turkish delegation comprising officials of 12 companies will meet with Azerbaijan’s private and public sector representatives on Dec. 1-2.
The delegation will also visit the international exhibition BakuTel 2016 to be held Nov. 29-Dec. 2.
