Azerbaijan, Turkey to co-op in postal service (PHOTO)

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Communications and High Technologies has signed a memorandum of understanding with Turkey’s Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.

The memorandum was signed after the first meeting of ICT ministers of member-countries of the Turkic Speaking States Cooperation Council, held as part of BakuTel 2016, the 22nd Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Conference on Telecommunications and Information Technologies.

Under the memorandum, the sides agreed on cooperation in the postal service.

During the meeting, it was agreed to hold the second meeting on ICT of the Turkic Speaking States Cooperation Council in Turkey in 2017.

BakuTel 2016, the 22nd Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Conference on Telecommunications and Information Technologies kicked off in Baku Nov. 29.

BakuTel 2016 has brought together more than 200 companies from Azerbaijan, Germany, Israel, Russia, Turkey and other countries. There are leading ICT companies, mobile operators, communications operators, internet providers, system integrators, and distributors of well-known brands among exhibitors.
