Azerbaijan’s postal operator Azerpost LLC and the Estonian Post have signed a contract which envisages the organization of fast delivery of mail, a source in the Azerbaijani postal communication market told Trend.
The source said the contract has entered force, and currently, the two countries’ postal operators provide fast mail delivery.
Cooperation between Azerpost and the Estonian Post is of great importance in expanding the scope of the electronic commerce project carried out by Azerbaijan’s postal operator jointly with the air carrier Silk Way.
The project is of regional nature and envisages the organization by Silk Way of logistics of the delivery of goods acquired via China’s electronic trading platforms, to Azerbaijan, as well as sending them to other countries.
