Azerbaijani e-commerce market’s volume was 10.1 million manats in January-March 2017, said the State Statistics Committee in its report Apr. 18.
Total volume of the retail e-commerce rose by 1.7 times during the period as compared to January-March 2016.
Retail trade turnover amounted to 7.9 billion manats in Azerbaijan in 1Q17, which exceeds the figure for the same period of 2016 by 1.6 percent.
Meanwhile, 99.9 percent of consumer goods were sold by non-state economic entities, including 11.1 percent sold by the enterprises that have a legal entity status.
