Azerbaijan and Russia are preparing the legal basis for a joint venture fund to finance promising IT projects, Elchin Zeynalov, executive director at Azerbaijan’s State Fund for Development of Information Technologies, told Trend.
“We discussed the joint fund project with the Russian Venture Company (RVC),” Zeynalov said. “Here the matter rests in the opportunity for Azerbaijani companies to enter the Russian market and for Russian companies to enter the Azerbaijani market.”
“This would make it possible to consolidate the both funds’ opportunities and develop the business industry in ICT in both countries,” according to him.
